North Hopkins Water District provides water for the rural County areas north of Madisonville with water obtained from Madisonville. The district provides water to 1,107 customers and stores its supply in two 100,000 gallon tanks. Its peak consumption rate is 133,500 gpd with average daily consumption reaching 122,400 gpd. Water pressure throughout the system averages 70 psi.
